Kent Barga

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Francis) Barga; his mother, Susan (Baltes) Barga; his children, Eric Barga and Andrea (Kyle) Goubeaux; and his cherished granddaughters, Amelia and Selena. Kent is preceded in death by his father, Nelson T. Barga.

Kent had a deep love for his barn, a place where he spent countless hours and created many lasting memories. He also took great pride in his business, Upper Valley Safety Training, where his hard work and dedication made a meaningful impact on many people.

Kent will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for family, and the pride he took in everything he built. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Kent’s life will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, April 10, 2026, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to the Versailles Fire Department or Versailles EMS in Kent’s memory.
