Lois was born March 7, 1932, in Versailles to the late Cletus & Ellen (Nischwitz) Judy. In addition to her parents, Lois was also preceded in death by a son, Jac A. Baker.
Lois is survived by her son, Jon A. Baker of Versailles; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois was a 1950 graduate of Versailles High School and a 1953 graduate of Miami University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She was a lifelong member of the Order of Eastern Star, member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Versailles and former member of the White Shrine. Lois taught 4th grade at Franklin Monroe and 3rd grade at Hardin-Houston School and retired from teaching with 26 years of service. Lois was a very active genealogist and amateur historian. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and had been to every State except Alaska and Hawaii.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, August 1, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles with Pastor Ippy Mwakabonga officiating.
