We have had the honour Art and your family for over 20 years. We always found him to be  happy, never complaining, very positive, very humorous, very compassionate, very loving man. You and we have been blessed with being called Grandma and Grandpa, Hoohoo and Nana by Serenavai and Haiven. Over the years we had many celebrations with our families together. We always had so much fun, laughs and good times. Art will truly be missed by us all. May God surround you with family and friends at this most difficult time.

Shirley and Family,

So very sorry to learn of Art’s passing.

We came to know both you and Art through his association for many years with Graham Whincup (our brother) who considered Art a special friend.

We remember with affection Art’s kindness when Graham passed away and also how you both made time to visit our Mum.

Art will always be remembered by our family as will you.

It is the world’s loss when the “Arts” and “Grahams” are gone.

Dear Shirley and family, 
My deepest condolences on your loss of such a sweet man. I will always remember the twinkle in Art’s eye when he visited our office, sharing a joke or bringing in treats. He was one of those special people who was determined to brighten the mood of anyone he encountered - he certainly brought a smile to my face every time and I will treasure those memories.

What a great guy and it was an absolute pleasure and honour to have known and worked with him. Always positive, great sense of humour, glass always at least half full (especially the Scotch he shared) and genuinely liked and respected all round. What a legacy.
