We are saddened to announce the passing of Carol at the age of 84. She was born in New Westminster to Marjorie and John Mearns. In 1952 they moved to Victoria to take over running the Brite Spot Restaurant. She met a handsome man in uniform Joseph Urban Richard (deceased) and raised 4 children that will miss her John (Pat), Kathy (Garry)Aasen, Paul (Theresa), Colin 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren. Her Sister Donna Ferguson (Gus) will be missing her visits and phone calls. Mom Was predeceased by sister Irene (Leroy) Loewen, in-laws John Davis & George Ferguson and many Richard's. Mom would not want us to be sad, if you see a hummingbird in flight, smile and think of her.
