Mae is survived by her husband of 71 years, Gordon; her three children, Debra (Kerry), Bonnie (Robert), & Lindsay; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; here sister, Jane Ann and sisters-in-law, Pat Summers & Rae Moir; daughters-in-law, Geri Moir & Cheryl Moir. Plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Bruce.
Mae enjoyed playing her violin in the symphony, cruising the world, and travelling at every opportunity. Some of her happiest memories are the summers she spent with her grandchildren at the acreage near Cochrane in the magnificent home she designed to her specifications.
Mae was very active in the Calgary real estate market. She also sat on many Calgary boards.
Mae will be remembered for her infectious smile, generous heart and her boundless compassion.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
