He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Gertrude; his siblings, Ian, Laura and Kathleen; and his grandson, Sean.
Conran had many careers through the years.
Part owner in a garage as a licensed mechanic. Equipment repairs at Dickson's Coffee. Long-Haul-Owner-Operator under Grassick Transport and as an engineer with the Coast Guard and B.C. Ferries.
Conran is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce; daughter, Susan (John); son, Brian (Laurie); granddaughters, Justine (Nolan), and Rachel (Joshua); great-granddaughter, Sophia; sister-in-law, Anne; and several nieces and nephews.
In honouring Conran's final wishes, there will be no memorial or ceremony.
