It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, brother, and friend Dave Mason, on December 8th, 2015. He is survived by his son, Paul (Jen) and grandchildren, Ava and Alexis; his son Sam; his sister Lynne (Kevin); his brother Ken (Joanne), his golf buddies, his poker buddies and his many many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Herb and Nancy. Born and raised in Victoria, Dave worked many years at Woodward’s and then at Safeway until he retired. His family and friends will remember his warm smile, gentle nature, kind heart and his willingness to help wherever he was needed. Dave especially loved going to cheer Sam on at his soccer and lacrosse games. He also loved visiting and playing with his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Life for Dave will be held at First Memorial 4725 Falaise Drive on Wednesday December 16th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
