He grew up in Fanny Bay, B.C and moved to Victoria in 1962 where he worked many years at Smith Cedar Products and later at Building and Grounds at the University of Victoria. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing, hunting and camping throughout British Columbia, Alberta and the United States. In later years he enjoyed travelling by air to further destinations.
Harold is predeceased by his parents Al and Albena Klein, brothers Arvend, Meinhard and niece Myrna Howarth. He is survived by Gail, his wife of 60 years, son Allan (Effie) and granddaughter Jessica, brother Vern (Doreen), sister-in-law Charlene, aunt Leona Bruce, nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins in British Columbia and Alberta.
A nice man, thoughtful husband and proud father and grandfather is gone and he will be truly missed. At Harold’s request there will be no service.
