Sadly, we announce that John passed away on December 28, 2014 in Victoria, BC. He was born on October 15, 1926 in Putney, England. John proudly served as a youthful volunteer in the Canadian Army Tank Corps during the latter days of WWII. John is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, his 5 children from his first marriage, Jay (Judy), Alison (David), Neil (Joanne), Paul (Jeanie) and Colleen (Peter), 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Many thanks to nurses and care workers at Broadmead Lodge and Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
Cremation. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
