I am so sorry to hear about Julie's passing and regret missing the Celebration of Life.  I worked with Julie for many years at RJH.  I considered her a friend, she was inspirational to myself and everyone she met. Julie was a very special person  and I am a much better person and nurse  for having known her.   Words cannot express my sorrow.  Condolences and sympathy to all her family friends. She will never be forgotten.

Dear Ron & Family,
So very sorry that we could not be with you to day.
However our thoughts and prayers are with you. It was so good to talk to you yesterday and yet very sad. Life flies by so very fast and lives become so very busy with family. Births, illness and losses that we lose touch with those that meant so much. I feel privilege and honored to have worked with Julie over the years on 2west and Endoscopy unit, not only as a colleague but also a friend. Julie lit up the room when she entered. Her infectious smile and positive attitude were truly inspirational. Julie was an incredible nurse and a special lady. I will truly miss her. I was blessed to work with Julie on 2W, 4AS and then in endoscopy at the Jubilee. I will never forget when she held my youngest son at a staff get together when I was new to Victoria. Her warm welcome, and gentle reasurring presence will always be cherished. To Ron and family know that all who knew Julie are keeping you in our prayers.

I was so privileged to be one of Julie's friends. We worked together in Endoscopy and spent many coffee breaks in the RJH garden sharing in the joy of being grandmothers. Ron and family , so sorry to hear of your loss of one beautiful lady. Julie was my preceptor student in Nursing, I was blessed everyday that I worked with her. We know she is in heaven Nursing everyone with grace, as Julie did so well.

I can't believe Julie is gone.  She was always so warm, fit and full of life.  We will always remember her wonderful grin and infectious feisty spirit whether battling cancer or arbitrating the food fights between her brothers (and even occasionally participating).
