BARBER, Marlene Margaret (Marnie) passed away peacefully on January 31st at Somerset House in Victoria at the age of 83 years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years William Murray Barber. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister Judy, her children; Cameron (Kathy), Scott (Lina), and Gregg (Sandra), seven grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Marnie was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother. Loved deeply by all, Marnie lived her life fully and completely. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 3rd from 10 am until 12 noon at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1155 Fort St. Victoria B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
