With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Eleanor “GG” Garrington on August 30, 2025. Born on February 19, 1939, Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was taken from us too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unwavering strength.
Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Eleanor Lord, she is survived by her sister, Sharon (Steve); sister-in-law Shirley (Bob); her children: Gina, Lori (Bud), and Dave; her grandchildren: Dan (Darren), Amy (Brad), Mike (Kelsey), Jesse (Sara), Tyrell, Montana (Nick), Kelsea and her cherished great-grandchildren: Abigail and Grayson, Cassidy, Hailey and Baby Tremblay, Ryler and Brynlee.
“GG” will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family always present to support her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a lifelong fan of lacrosse and especially enjoyed cheering on the Shamrocks.
Pat’s kindness, sharp wit, and generous spirit touched all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of her life will be held on November 19, 2025 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Langford Legion, 761 Station Ave.
