Rick D. Vincent passed away unexpectedly, in late November at the age of 69. Born and raised in Victoria, B.C., Rick was predeceased by his father, Roy W. Vincent, mother, Gladys (Tori) Craig, step-father, Doug Craig and older brother, Ron W. Vincent.
Rick worked as an Assistant Plant Operator at the Esquimalt Graving Dock (1980-1996), before operating his small trucking business, A One Two Yard Delivery. Rick was a "car guy" through and through and was a member of many local associations over the years. In his most recent years, Rick enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and making future plans with Laura. Rick had a "gift of the gab" and a love for Tim Horton's coffee. If you happened to have a Bullmastiff in the back of your truck, he would waste no time saying hello. He was a true friend, who would do anything for you.
Rick is survived by his son, Jeremy (Celeste) Vincent, daughter, Katie (Cole) Vincent, grandchildren, Mack and Lena, fiancée, Laura Knight and brothers; Randy Vincent (Lori), Russell (Janice) Vincent, Roy (Wanda) Vincent, step-brothers; Brian (Nina) Craig and Don (Marion) Craig, step-sister, Robyn (Leroy) Crosby, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
RIP, Dad...we'll endeavour to catch up.
