Rita Lorraine Finn (Groven) passed peacefully on Saturday January 20th, 2024 in Victoria, BC. Rita was born in St Boniface, Manitoba on May 23rd, 1930. She married the love of her life, Joe Finn on September 15th, 1951. Rita and Joe loved adventure and travel. They lived in northern BC and the Yukon, RV'ed in the southern US and Mexico, and train travelled across Southern Africa. They enjoyed being on the water, whether at Pitt Lake or fishing off of Bamfield.
Rita is predeceased by her loving husband and sister, Dallas. She is survived by her two daughters (Jody and Debbi), two granddaughters (Christy and Quinn), three great-grandchildren (Elise, Yara and Malek) and a nephew (Ian). Rita will be remembered for her quick wit and humour.
