Robin Cecil May passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024 at the age of 86. Born in Victoria, B.C., Robin worked for the B.C. Power Commission in the interior of B.C. in the late 1950’s, a job he often enjoyed reminiscing about. He started his career in the grocery business in 1960 at Shop Easy (Oak Bay and Shelbourne St. locations) and was Manager/Owner until 1989. He then moved on to be the Island Sales Manager for Island Gold Eggs until he retired in 2002. Robin was an active member at Cedar Hill Golf Course for 40 years. He was also a very good bowler, both 5 pin at Town and Country and 10 pin at Mayfair Lanes. He was one of the biggest supporters of the Toronto Blue Jays and Vancouver Canucks whether they won or lost! Lately Robin loved going to the beach, always had a puzzle book on the go, and enjoyed his favourite old time TV shows. Robin is survived by the most wonderful, caring family. Survived by his loving wife Sylvia of 35 precious years together. Robin and his previous wife, Joyce, were blessed with four lovely daughters.
