November 22, 1954 – February 4, 2016
Sue passed away in her sleep in Victoria, BC at the age of 61.
Born in Vancouver, she was the youngest of three siblings, all raised in Burnaby. She moved to Prince George and then Victoria, where she lived for 32 years. She spent three decades working as a CDA in the dental community.
Sue had a life long love of crafting, especially sewing. Her main passion for the last decade has been genealogy. She loved the chase and hunting down new information. Hearing a loud “Oh!” or an obscenity, from where she was sitting at the computer, meant that she had discovered something good. She had plans to write a book about her research. She longed to visit New Zealand, where her father was born. She got her New Zealand citizenship by descent a few years ago. We hope she has finally made her way there.
Sue will be forever missed by her loving family, husband Dennis; children, Alex (Demi), Brandy, Blair (Angela), Trevor (Marni); her brothers, Bob (Linda) and Peter (Judi); grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as Raine, Tuck and Tilly, her fur babies.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
Ka nui te aroha, ake ake ake
(Lots of love, forever & ever & ever)
