June was a wonderful and inspiring person who showed love and compassion to everyone she encountered. An amazing gift to our world; she was caring and beautiful inside and out, loving her life, family, and friends.
Born in Lacombe, Alberta, to Jessie and Walter Whitecotton, she grew up alongside her 2 sisters, May and Evelyne, and 3 brothers, Roy, Lorne, and Smoke.
Lover of knowledge, June became a teacher and taught in a one room school house. Eventually she found her way to Victoria, BC where she married James Munro and raised her family.
Seeking adventure in her 80's June discovered a huge passion for world travel and went on numerous trips backpacking thru the Middle East, North Africa and Mexico.
Lovingly survived by her 5 children, Randy (Janie), Brian (Janet), Heather, Allan and Shawn, and grandchildren. You will remain forever in our hearts and walk with us throughout our life …until we meet again.
