

Tonny was born in The Hague, Netherlands surviving WWII in the ‘40’s and moved to Canada as a young adult. He attended the University of Manitoba and used his technical knowledge for various jobs until becoming Head of the Cardiology Department at St. Bonifas Hospital where he succeeded in modernizing the medical technology at the time. He worked at the hospital for 30 years until retiring to Vancouver Island where he spent his time repairing clocks, working on his hobby boats and raising his youngest children. He was known as a jokester, musician, tinkerer, lover of life, a wonderful husband, a supportive father, and was a genuinely benign man. He is greatly missed.
Predeceased by His father Peter Ferdinand Edward Frauenfelder, his mother Jacoba Jana Boogerd, Brother Eddy Frauenfelder, Sister Enna Frauenfelder, and most recently his brother Hans Frauenfelder.
Survived by His three sons Sean, James and Rick, his daughter Chantelle, grandchildren Kiana and Jaxon, and his loving wife Coty.
