Velma Margaret Berg

She was predeceased by her Father, Mother, five sisters, four brothers, her son-in-law Allister Peach and daughter Roberta Peach (née Berg).

She is survived by three children and four grandchildren:

Jo-Ann Schwartz (Rick) and Nadia Schwartz of Ottawa, ON.

Erik Peach of Brisbane, Australia.

Cynthia Meakin and Blaine and Connor Meakin of Calgary, AB.

Gordon Berg of Victoria, B.C.

Other surviving family include:

Niece Susan Strelioff of Ottawa, ON.

Nephew Carlo (Nancy) Maki of Victoria, B.C. and Great niece Sandra Maki, Calgary, AB.

Sister-in-law Lilly Laakso, Moncton, N.B.

Velma loved to travel with family and friends and to spend time time with her grandchildren. She spent many hours volunteering with different charities and community groups such as Beavers, Scouts and Girl Guides, as well as teaching Sunday School.
