Ron joined a west coast tug boat crew at a young age. He joined the Royal Canadian Airforce in the 60’s and was a proud serving member until retirement and in civilian service. After Ron retired from the Rocky Point Armament Depot he spent his time mall walking, doing jigsaw puzzles with Verna and enjoying a good life. Ron had four extra special years following a serious heart aliment in 2021 after the heat dome.
Ron loved his sweaters, jeans, socks and shoes, because they meant he was dressed and going for a car ride. He was a sharp cribbage player despite having memory decline, shellacking Karen and Dave in many games.
Ron was predeceased by: his mother Jean and father Bill, sister Diane, and brother Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Verna, son David, daughter Karen.
