Aaron Scott West

Aaron Scott West 34, of Victoria passed away August 14, 2015. He was born January 11, 1981 in Pampa, Texas to Jim West and Judy Jeane Jaso. Aaron was a 1999 graduate of St. Joseph High School and served his country in the United States Army as an AirBorne Ranger. He was involved in the family business of Jet Maintenance and AW Trucking located in Victoria, TX. Aaron lived life with passion and had an infectious smile. He loved golf, country music, hunting, the Dallas Cowboys and mostly importantly his family. As a child of God, we know he's resting in peace.

He is survived by daughters Madison and Ali of Groom, Texas; his father Jim West and step-mother Carol West of Victoria; mother Judy Jeane Jaso and husband Emil Jaso, Jr. of Tampa, Florida; brothers Andrew West of Victoria and Austin West of New Branufels; step-sister Chloe Skelly of Austin; grandparents Jack and Bettye West of Groom, Texas and Percy and Marjorie Jeane of Victoria.

He was preceded in death by brother Adam West.

The family will receive friends Monday August 17, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday August 18, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Shamburger officiating. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Goliad, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Austin West, Andrew West, Brandon Knox, Randy Knox, Carroll Borden and Mike Bowman.
