Albert Jorden (Jay) Clement, 74, of Victoria, passed away on July 9, 2024. Jay was born May 22, 1950, in Victoria, Texas. He was an avid fisherman and loved being out on the water in his many boats. Jay enjoyed hunting at their ranch with family and friends. He had a passion for antiques and renovating cars and old homes. Supporting his daughter’s soccer endeavors and his son’s love of basketball brought him great happiness.
Jay is survived by his wife - Ginger Gerdes Clement, daughter - Alexis Clement of Kyle, Texas, son - Christopher Clement of Rockport, Texas, and sister - Rosemary Catchings of Victoria, Texas. He was preceded in death by parents - Faye Kidd and Coleman Clement, sister - Docia Clement, brother - Kai Clement, and nephew - Cole Clement.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral starting at 1:00. A Rosary will follow at 1:30 and the Funeral Mass at 2:00. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers are son - Christopher Clement and nephews - Ryan Gerdes, Paul Gerdes, Mark Gerdes, Chris Gerdes, and Kevin Gerdes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory School or an Animal Shelter/Rescue.
