

Allison A. Miller, age 49, passed away on Sunday, August 21, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. after a long and devastating illness. Allison was born March 12, 1967 in Beaumont, Texas, the only child of Jim Miller and Alice McMahon Miller. She grew up in Victoria, Texas, graduated from Victoria High School in 1985, and studied Business Administration at Victoria College. Allison made her home in Houston, Texas where she worked as an advertising account executive at Comcast Spotlight. A vivacious, charming and beautiful woman, Allison could light up a room with her smile. Allison fought her illness with every ounce of her being with her devoted mother at her side.
She was predeceased by her father, Jim Miller. She is survived by her mother Alice Miller, her Uncle Richard McMahon and wife, Aunt Vici of Burnet, Texas, Uncle Herman Miller and wife, Aunt Ann, Aunt Jonnie Miller, and Aunt Sarah Richardson, all from Bleakwood, several cousins and other family members in the Houston area and Newton County, and Shadow, her beloved cat. She will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 E. Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. An additional visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2016, at Watson Chapel United Methodist Church, 13080 State Hwy 87 S, Kirbyville, Texas, at 9:00 a.m. with services following at 10:00 a.m. Allison will be laid to rest next to her Daddy at the historic Watson Chapel's cemetery near Bleakwood, Texas.
