Andrew Gaccetta, 16, passed away on April 9, 2026. Andrew was born on June 25, 2009, in Victoria, Texas. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend whose life, though far too short, was filled with love, faith, and joy.
Andrew loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. He was a great soccer player and had a natural gift for running. He also loved spending time with his friends and family, often bringing laughter to those around him with his sense of humor and warm spirit. He will be remembered for his kind and caring heart, his hardworking nature, and his ability to make others smile. Andrew had a special way of making people feel valued and loved.
Above all, Andrew loved God with all his heart, and his faith guided his life. As it is written, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you” (John 14:27), a promise of comfort in this time of loss. And as we hold on to his memory, we are reminded, “I thank my God every time I remember you” (Philippians 1:3), reflecting the love Andrew leaves behind in every heart he touched.
He is survived by his father, Joseph Gaccetta Jr.; his mother, Teresa Gray; his siblings, Amelia and Adam Gaccetta; along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
