Arline Baker Tharp

Arline Baker Tharp, 77, of Victoria passed away December 26, 2013. She was born April 21, 1936, in San Antonio to the late Nelson Moss Baker and Artimese Samantha “Nita” Caughman. She was a decorator for over 35 years in the Victoria area and loved everything to do with family and the home. She enjoyed nature and music and was a beautiful piano player and former piano teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Tharp of Victoria; daughters, Samantha Whitt Sullivan and husband, Scott of Houston, and Terri Tharp Covington and husband, Craig of Inez; sons, Rick Comstock and wife, JoEllen of Victoria, and Rusty Comstock and wife, Barbara of Victoria; step-sons, Bill Tharp, Jr. and wife, Joyce of Houston, Larry Tharp and wife, Marianne of South Carolina and Dale Tharp and wife, Christine of Florida; four grandchildren, Christopher Comstock, Ross Comstock and wife, April, Charlotte Sullivan and Katie Covington; great-grandchildren, Quinten Comstock and Elliott Comstock; and many other family members, friends and loved ones.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Comstock.

A private service will be held. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
