Barbara Stallings McKnight

A horsewoman at heart, Barbara lived with strength, conviction, and purpose. Her life reflected many callings: wife, mother, granny, swim instructor, pastor, teacher, lifelong student, community planner, and leader, but above all, she was a woman of deep faith who invested wholeheartedly in people and in her community.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn McKnight, and granddaughter, Rebecca; her son, William McKnight, and his wife, Crystal, and grandsons, Andrew (Dominique) and Zachary; her brother, David Stallings; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she treasured deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth McKnight; her parents; and her brothers, Rusty Stallings and Tom Stallings.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at John Wesley Global Methodist Church in Victoria, Texas. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Victoria.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John Wesley Global Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
