Barbara Jean Robertson

Barbara Jean Robertson, 85, passed away February 16, 2019 surrounded by her family. Barbara was born August 14, 1933 in Blanco, TX. She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Schlatter (Dean) of Comanche, TX; son, Rusty Robertson (Mary) of Victoria; sister, Mildred Phillips of Sandia, TX; brothers, Mike Liesman of New Braunfels, George (Ike) Liesman of Victoria; grandchildren, Cory Robertson, Callie Schlatter Wyatt (Brian), Duell Schlatter, and Collin Robertson; and a great-grand-daughter, Sawyer Hayes Wyatt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thusnelda (Tess) Nolte and Ben Liesman; husband, Roy Joseph Robertson; sister, Bess Perry; and brothers, Kenneth, Glenn and her twin brother, Dean Liesman.

Although she enjoyed gardening, quilting, hunting, fishing, bowling, and traveling, her greatest legacy and most dear to her was her family which she loved very much. She was a kind and humble soul. Her sweet nature and ability to accept, embrace, and make the best of whatever life presented her was an inspiration, and she will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10 am at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with burial to immediately follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Joshua Mann, Scott Perry, Collin Robertson, Cory Robertson, Duell Schlatter and Brian Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Liesman and George (Ike) Liesman.
