Benita C. Lara, age 81, of Victoria, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Benita was born December 24, 1939 in Victoria, Texas to Blasa Briones Cisneros and Jose Cisneros.

Benita is survived by her son, Allen Lara; and her son, David Michael Lara; her grandchild, David Michael Lara Jr.; her grandchild, Crystal Marie Lara; her grandchild, Dakota Lara and her grandchild, Joshua Lara.

Benita was preceded in death by her husband, Pete David Lara; her father, Jose Cisneros and her mother, Blasa Briones Cisneros.

A graveside service for Benita will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at San Jose Cemetery, Bloomington, Texas.

Contributions in Benita's memory may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 208 W. River Street, Victoria, Texas 77901.
