Bennie Bankston

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patricia Simpson Bankston of Victoria; daughters, Sheri Weisiger and husband Craig of League City, Texas and Donna Edwards and husband John of Firestone, Colorado; son, Duane Bankston of Lewisville, Texas; brother, Carl Bankston and wife Mary of Victoria, Texas; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm Monday, October 17, 2011 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Les Cole officiating. Burial with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Donnie Kissinger, Alan Carroll, Paul Newton, Billy Haynes, Jean Hollar, and Dennis DeLee. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the LifePointe Fellowship Church Bankston Bible Study Small Group.

Memorials may be made to Diabetic Association or LifePointe Fellowship Church.
