Bobby Gene Carr

Bobby worked for Shugarts Photography, Alcoa and retired from Halliburton Services after 30 years of service. He was a member and deacon at Northside Baptist Church.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife Melba Jo Carr of 49 years; son Bobby Gene Carr, Jr of Austin, TX and two daughters Marianne Winn (Mark) of Lesterville, MO and Martha Jane Peoples of Corpus Christi, TX; brother-in-law Larry Bills of Georgetown, TX; sister-in-law Linda Carr of Decatur, TX; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Carr, sisters Patsy Henry of Shamrock, TX and Debbie Bills of Georgetown, TX, brother-in-law, Ran Henry and daughter Kathryn Elaine Sanders (Keith).

Services will be held on Friday May 1, 2026 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels at 10 AM with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
