Bobby G Ross Jr.

Bobby Gene Ross Jr., 45, of Katy, formerly of Victoria, passed away October 15, 2017. Bobby was born November 12, 1971 to Bobby Gene Sr. and Alice Williams Ross. Bobby was a loving, kind hearted man who adored his children. Bobby’s passion was in the rodeo arena, roping. Bobby also had a love for motorcycle’s and was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan.

Bobby is survived by his parents; wife, Christy Myers Ross of Katy; daughters, Ashlie Nikole Ross of Longview; Taliah Kayleen Ross of Victoria; sons, Garrett Neal Ross of Longview, Adam Jackson Ross of Katy; sister, Tiffany Nicole Ross of Victoria; brother, Kevin Darnell Ross of Victoria; grandmother, Ruth Ross of Victoria; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church with Rev. F.J. Hobbs officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Westbrook, David Barefield, Dedrick Johnson, Jarrett Gutierrez, Rodney Reed, Casey Brown, LyWayne Bedford, Chris Williams and Kendrick Franklin.

Honorary pallbearers will be all of Bobby’s 1st Cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Nebo Building Fund.
