Bobby A. Schroeder, 84, of Victoria was welcomed into the gates of heaven Wednesday, April 27, 2016. He was born September 11, 1931 in Victoria to the late Monroe and Lillie Vogt Schroeder. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was retired from Union Carbide. Bobby was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church where he served as an usher and faithfully sang in the choir. Bobby spent time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He regularly shared fish and game with his family and friends. Bobby is probably most remembered for the many hours he devoted to visiting nursing homes and hospitals. Bobby also enjoyed dancing.
