Carl Hewer Jr., of Victoria, TX, passed away at his beloved Farmhouse to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born on May 30, 1956, in Freeport, TX, the son of the late Carl Hewer Sr. and Billie Jo Hewer.
Carl married the love of his life, Cindy Hewer, on November 18, 1977. He was a devoted husband and a compassionate, disciplinary father. He worked as a Tool Pusher at Delta & Nabors Drilling Company. Carl was a hard worker, but he always made his family his top priority. When Carl wasn't tending to his garden or his cattle, he enjoyed spending his time fishing, cruising, or repairing equipment, always with a cold beer in hand. He also loved sharing his personal stories, always authentic with a hint of exaggeration.
Carl is predeceased in death by his parents and two brothers, Harrison Hewer and Arthur Joe Hewer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Hewer, and their two children, Scott Hewer and wife Devin and Stacy Crabb and husband Justin. He also has five grandchildren: Aidan Hewer, Autumn and Jensen Crabb, Chase, and Taylor Laux.
Services will be held on Friday, February 7th, at 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, with burial to immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
