

He was a retired parts manager for Chrysler and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was very active in the choir. He retired from the United States Army, having served in the Korean War, and was a member of the VFW. He was also very active as a young man in the Victoria Theatre Arts.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Sue Mueller and Sherri Hencerling and husband Ronnie; son, John Michael Mueller; 3 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; sister, Elsie Dohman; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dedicated caregivers, Shell Robinson; and Kelly and Stephanie with Healthforce.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roberta Jaster Mueller; sister, Annie Griffith; and nephew, Butch Griffith.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Cody Nash, Matthew Hencerling, Madison Hencerling, Wesley Unger, Floyd Jaster, Jr., Steve Cornett, James Cornett and Gerald Griffith. Honorary Pallbearers: Saralyn Griffith Proschko, Greg Howland, Dawn Thriss, Amy Nash and the staff Healthforce.
Memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Choir Fund or the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Inez.
