Maslowski of North Chicago, IL, her parents Louis R. and Frances “Fanny” E. Roedell, all 6 of her siblings and several other family members. She is survived by her children Marcia (Rudy) Czarny of Burlington, WI, Valerie Maslowski of Sun Lakes, AZ, and Mary Alice (Greg) Caudillo of Victoria, TX. Colleen moved from Altamont, IL. to Waukegan, IL. as a teenager and graduated from Waukegan High School. Following WWII, she met Ki while roller skating and they married in 1947 at Immaculate Conception Parish in Waukegan, IL. Along with Ki, she raised her family, was a lifelong member and active participant of Most Blessed Trinity Parish and The Waukegan Emblem Club. After enjoying various jobs, she began her career at Abbott Laboratories in 1971 and retired in 1992. Gardening, baking, sewing, counted cross stitch and reading occupied part of her everyday life. She also enjoyed traveling – visiting several cities across the United States with the Emblem Club, visiting family as they moved, and traveling to Europe. One of her fondest memories was a cruise to Alaska in 2010 with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In 2021, Colleen relocated to Texas to live with Mary Alice and Greg. Once there, she enjoyed the company of family and the family dogs, who provided her great comfort. However, the move from Illinois meant she left behind many friends and neighbors who brought great joy during her many decades of life.
