Daniel Richard Davila

Daniel R. Davila, 24, of Victoria, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011. Daniel was born October 26, 1986, in Victoria to Eluterio “Lou” Davila and Liza Villarreal Davila. Daniel was an auto glass tech for Safe Lite and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents survivors include his fiancee, Mayra Degollado, of Victoria; two beautiful daughters, Tatum and Rhylie Davila, of Victoria; brother, Steven Michael Davila, of Victoria; maternal grandmother, Fidela Villarreal, of Victoria; paternal grandmother, Angelita Davila, of Victoria.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Villarreal and paternal grandfather, Aurelio Davila.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, with a Rosary at 7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 2 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rob Villarreal, Luther Davila, Justin Mainka, Phil Brisco, Carlos Razo and Roel Villegas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Garcia and Robbie Villarreal.
