Darrell attended school in Port Lavaca and graduated from high school at St. Marcus Baptist Academy.
He successfully managed “The Store” in Port Lavaca for the past 15 years.
Darrell was an active sports fan and never missed a Cowboy football game, as well as an avid deer hunter having harvested several whitetail deer with his bow.
He is survived by his parents, David Gann and Paula Kimbrough; step-mother, Jacki Gann; two sons, Wayne Gann and Walker Gann; brother, Darron Gann; sisters, Cheryll Grafton, Jennifer Rivera, Melissa Trent, Tracy Zerwas, Jamie Slaughter; granddaughter, Lexi and the love of his life, Sandra Wedemeier.
He was a good friend to many and will be missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 7-9 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria.
