

Darrell G. Haith, 67, of Victoria answered his call to receive his Crown in Glory, Thursday, July 28th, 2016. He was born June 3rd, 1949 in Yoakum, Texas to Jack and Bernice Schmidt Haith of Port Lavaca. Darrell was the owner of Crystal Blue Pool Service and worked at Du Pont plant for many years. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant in the National Guard.
He will be remembered as a man of faith, courage and wisdom. He loved the Lord, his church and especially watching the lytherical dance team. He loved his business and all of his clients whom all became family to him. He loved car racing and was an avid drag racer. He loved music and could play the saxophone, learning songs by ear. He loved to rodeo and shared this passion with his best friend, Joe Ray Custer. He fought a good fight against cancer for 2 years, encouraging other people along the way, never thinking of himself, never giving up. He won, as he is whole again in the presence of God.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, loving wife, Jacque Garibay Haith of Victoria; his beautiful daughters and son-in-law, Andrea Haith Power (Patrick) of New Jersey and Jada Haith of Victoria and his precious grandson, Colin Power. He is also survived by brother, Shawn Haith of Victoria and sister, Wanda Flisowski of Port Lavaca. Darrell loved his pets, especially his cat Squeaker and all of his nephews and nieces, his extended family and friends as he knew no strangers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gus and Elsie Schmidt and Walter and Opal Haith, brother-in-law Bill Flisowski.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:30-6:30pm and his celebration will begin at 6:30pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. His celebration of life will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10am at Life Point Fellowship Church with Pastor Shirley Battles, Pastor Les Cole and Pastor Jimmie L. Flakes officiating. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
Pallbearers: Shawn Haith, Carlos Garibay, David Brogger, Louis Lara, Chad Flisowski, Jordan Haith, Joshua Trevino and Richard Trevino, II.
