Deborah "Debbie" A. Marbach

Deborah A. “Debbie” Rakowitz Marbach, 66, of Houston, formerly of Victoria, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, in Houston. She was born in Victoria to William “Bill” and Evelyn Vollmar Rakowitz, Sr. on June 16, 1959. Debbie was a graduate of Victoria High School.

Debbie moved to Houston years ago to ensure access to opportunities for her daughters. While in Houston, she was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Bellaire before attending Houston’s First Baptist – The Loop.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William L. Rakowitz, Jr.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Heather and Courtney Marbach, sister, Pamela “Pam” Stanford and her husband Ronnie, brothers, Ronnie Roy Rakowitz, and Patrick “Pat” Rakowitz and his wife Jean. Debbie also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12-2 pm, followed by Funeral Service at 2 pm, all at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Honoring her by serving as Pallbearers will be Ronnie Roy Rakowitz, Patrick “Pat” Rakowitz, Will Stanford, Honour Stanford, Wendy Leita, and Mark Leita.
