Deborah Ann Oliver

Deborah Ann Oliver, 78, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2025 in Victoria, Texas. Born on August 31, 1947 in Victoria, Texas to James and Flora “Mickey” Oliver.

Deborah’s greatest joy was her large, close knit family. After graduating from Nazareth Academy in 1965, Deborah enjoyed traveling and lived in several states during her life, ultimately returning home to Victoria in her later years. She also enjoyed her time working at Detar and Citizens Hospitals.

She is survived by her two daughters, Melissa Whitehead (Mark), Sarah Gokey (Jason); six grandchildren- Tanner Cox, Emma Cox, Taylor Whitehead, Kennady Whitehead, Adriana Gokey, Vanessa Gokey. Surviving siblings are Pam Oliver Fanelli (Greg), Sharon Oliver Slone (Dale), James Oliver, Jr. (Belinda), Melanie Oliver Hood (George), George Oliver (Karen), and Mary Oliver Pribyl (Lee). Deborah also had many nieces, nephews and cousins and was especially close to her cousin Jane Andrews.

A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 Mockingbird Ln., Victoria, Texas.
