Delphine R. Kern

Survivors include her daughters, Gwenda L. (Gerald) Ludwig of Houston, Diane (Jerry) Talley of Victoria; son, Ronnie (Karen) Kern of Victoria; sister, Regina Vogt of Victoria, Emma Hribek of Stafford, TX; brother, Johnnie Micek of Victoria; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kern is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Kern on August 1, 2004 and a brother, Alfred Micek.

Visitation will be held from 7-8 PM on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Kern’s grandchildren; Troy Talley, Mark Talley, Jason Talley, Chad Kern, Kyle Kern, Shawn Kern, Waylon Kern, Valerie Wagberg and Christine Ludwig.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or charity of one’s choice.
