Diane Wolfshohl Hernandez

10 juin 195928 avril 2021

Diane Wolfshohl Hernandez, 61, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Rosary will be held on Saturday, May 8th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church starting at 9:00am, with the Memorial Mass beginning at 10:00am. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Diane was born June 10, 1959 in Refugio, Texas to Vernon Wolfshohl, Sr. and Ann Biederman Wolfshohl. Diane worked as a nurse for many years. At the time of her death, she had been employed by Dr. Frank Parma for about 10 years. Many of her patients became good friends. Diane had a kind heart and a generous spirit. She enjoyed her arts and crafts and cooking, especially making Christmas decorations and Christmas candy. She gave most of them away to friends and family. Diane loved her frisky little dog, Buddy. She was thrilled to become a grandmother and would pull out her phone and show pictures of her precious little ones whenever the opportunity presented itself. Her greatest sadness was that she didn't have enough time to spend with Quinn, Sloan, and Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Wolfshohl, Sr.; husband, David Hernandez; and sisters, Sue Wolfshohl and Mary Eastwood. She is survived by her mother, Ann Biederman Wolfshohl; step-sons, Andy Hernandez (Brittany) and Brian Hernandez; sisters, Jan Wise (Dennis) and Rita Wise (Bruce); brothers, Vernon Wolfshohl, Jr., Bill Wolfshohl, Douglas Wolfshohl (Susie) and Blaine Wolfshohl (Sherry); grandchildren; Quinn Hernandez, Sloan Hernandez and Sawyer Hernandez. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Diane (Wolfshohl) Hernandez's memory can be made to Hospice of South Texas, St. Mary's Catholic Church or Donor’s Choice. Words of comfort may be shared at www.rosewoodfuneralchapel.com.

My condolences are with Diane’s family.
I worked with Diane, at Crossroads Neurosurgical Associates, and she was a delight to work with. Always had an amazing smile on her face. Every year at Christmas I hang those beautifully hand paint works of art on my Christmas tree and remember her beautiful heart.
May you be held in the loving arms of our God!

I met Diane as a patient with Dr Parma’s office. She was the most open and honest person. She will be missed.

Diane and I worked for Dr Mahmoudi together for years. We had many wonderful times there and remained friends throughout the years. She was always smiling, kind, giving, and so proud to be a Mom to Andy and Brian. I know she was an amazing grandma as well. She is already missed. God bless you Diane.

Diane or "Woofie" as I used to call her worked with me in the ER at Citizen's 40 plus years ago. She was SO much fun to work with! I have missed her over the years. She is definitely gone too soon. I would love to run into her at some random location again.

So I was saddened by reading her passing in the paper. Rest in peace my Friend. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I have known Diane for many years as James and I are both patients of Dr. Parma where she worked for many years. You were always so kind to us both. We were just visiting before my shoulder replacement and I am so sorry that you have lost the battle. May you Rest In Peace and may the perpetual light shine upon you.

I was a partner at Rosewood Funeral Chapels until I retired in May 2016. I met Diane some 40 plus years ago. I can say she was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Any time I would see Diane she always was so positive and had that "Signature Smile". I will cherish the many years I knew Diane. May god bless Diane and her entire family. I know god has another angel in heaven. You will be missed Diane.
