On June 21, 2024 Dorothy "Dot" Crisp went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on May 20, 1931 in Cuero, Tx. to Callus Aubrey Manning and Mary Lou Dromgoole. She was a Homemaker and was a longtime member of the Baptist Temple Church in Victoria, Tx. She enjoyed hosting her Young at Heart small group, playing Dominoes and Cards with her loving husband and friends, as well as spending time with family and grandchildren. She also loved to do arts and crafts and was a very talented cross stitcher.
She is survived by her daughter Suelyn Wolf; son William A. Crisp; her sisters; Peggy Koranek and Cathy Voelkel; brothers Robby Coppedge (Sandy) and Phil Coppedge; her five grandchildren; Allison Otillio (Greg), Wendy Liddle (Brad), Lisa Kretchmar (Jeff), Dane Hoefling, and Kendall Selby (Travis) her nine great grandsons; Gavin, Gage, and Grant Otillio, Hayden and Hunter Liddle, Logan and Hudson Kretchmar, Miles and Brice Selby as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Her parents, Stepfather Bud Coppedge, husband William "Sandy" Crisp, sisters Connie Holdgraf and Faye Duckett.
A visitation for Dorothy will be Friday, the 19th of July 2024 from five o’clock until six o’clock in the evning at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, with a memorial service to begin at six o’clock with Pastor Larry Green officiating, Randy and Ann Boyd providing musical worship. A private family service will be held in Magnolia, AR where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband in August.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust, Victoria, TX 77901.
