Dorothy graduated from Patti Welder High School on May 21, 1945. She began work at First National Bank in 1950 and worked there for many years.
Dorothy married Robert Ed. Terry on July 21, 1952. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage.
Dorothy and Robert loved collecting bottles, relics of the past, anything old or unusual as well as very nice antiques. They spent their retirement years traveling and even made a motor home trip to Alaska.
Dorothy always had a smile, positive attitude, a great faith in God and just loved people.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Terry; her parents, L.C and Annie Roten; sister, Lucille Roten and brother, Logan Roten.
Dorothy lived at several retirement-assisted living places in Victoria, the last being Sodalis. She was always grateful for the care given to her by the caretakers at Sodalis, her hairdresser, Rosie Trevino and nurses from Harbor Hospice. Thank you all!
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
