

Edith retired with over twenty years of service as a bookkeeper/secretary with the Victoria Independent School District. A loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother to her family and was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Clifton H. Huebner, Jr., Barbara Sandoval, both of Houston and Elaine Smith, husband Dennis, of Victoria; sisters, Doris Dornak of Victoria and Marjorie ‘Dee’ Cook of Yoakum; brothers, Louie Kaiser, Elmo Kaiser, Vernon Kaiser, Robert Kaiser, Edwin ‘Bud’ Kaiser and Weldon ‘Butch’ Kaiser, all of Yoakum; grandchildren, Michelle Smith, husband Trent, Lance Huebner, wife Cheryl,
Lana McCormick, Melanie Carrington, husband Carl, Jason Tait, wife Shannon, Larry Sandoval, wife Ernestine, Laura Barker, husband Larry, Dillon Smith and Dustin Smith; and great grandchildren, Jackson Smith, Quentin Smith, Kayla Huebner, Courtney Huebner, Collin Huebner,
Audry Huebner, Emily McCormick, Michael Tait, Zachary Tait, Lawrence Sandoval, Lee Barker, Laura Beth Barker and Luke Barker.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifton H. Huebner, Sr.; brothers, Lester ‘Big’ Kaiser, Clifton ‘Babe’ Kaiser, Emil Kaiser, Leslie Kaiser and Walter Kaiser.
The family will receive guests at a visitation Monday, October 13, 2014 from 9 to 11 am at Colonial Funeral Home, Victoria, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor John Waak officiating. Burial will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, October 13, 2014 at Shiner City Cemetery, Shiner, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Huebner, Jason Tait, Carl Carrington, Dillon Smith, Dustin Smith and Michael Tait.
Memorial donations may be made to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
