

Edna Kathleen “Peggy” Lindsey Riley, 90, of Victoria passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. She was born on August 2, 1925 in Lucas Field, Sour Lake, Texas to William B. and Hattie Barclay Adams. Mrs. Riley was a 1946 graduate of Sam Houston State and retired as a teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Emery Riley of Victoria; daughter, Marla Hartman and husband, David of Victoria; two grandchildren, Lindsey Johnston, Kyle Hartman; two great grandchildren, Jordyn and Sydney Johnston; niece, Janice Gerling of Houston and a nephew, William Parrish of Corpus.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her first husband, Max Lindsey and a sister, Billie Marie Adams.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will be 11 AM on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at College Station City Cemetery in College Station.
Pallbearers will be John Asdahl, Troy Johnson, William Parrish, David Hartman, Kyle Hartman and Mark Pryor.
