

Edwin Derek Plowman, 46, of Eustis, Florida, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. He was born August 25, 1967, in Tacoma, Washington, to Dr. Donald Plowman of Victoria and Betty Jo Oder Plowman of Harper. Edwin had moved to Eustis in 2013 from Harper, Texas. He was a former optician. Edwin loved spending time outdoors and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking, building and fixing things, and enjoyed eating sweets. Edwin had a special place in his heart for the homeless and provided assistance for them in various ways.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Catherine Anne Miori Plowman of Eustis, Florida; his mother, Betty Jo Plowman of Harper; father, Dr. Donald (Patricia) Plowman of Victoria; sons, Scott Plowman of Ft. Polk, Louisiana and Matthew Plowman of Port Aransas; sisters, Debra Junk of Leander and Beth (Mike) Eldridge of Cedar Park; step brother John (Stacy) Hickman of Marion and step sister Cyndi (Mike) Dufresne of Boerne; several nieces and nephews; and his four footed friends, Snickers and Emma.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Friday, January 3, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
