Ernest Lee Alaniz Jr.

He is survived by parents Diana Flores Johnson and Don Stafford of Victoria and father, Ernest Lee Alaniz of Palacios; sisters, Ashley Johnson and Alea Johnson both of Houston and Cynthia Alaniz, Texas City and Isabella Alaniz, Palacios; brothers; Aaron (Shaina) Johnson of Victoria and Aerik Johnson of Houston. Maternal grandparents, Alfredo and Lamar Flores of Victoria; paternal grandmother Dominga Martinez of Palacios. Nephews, Izaiah and Malachi Johnson both of Victoria; niece, Hailey Johnson of Victoria. Special Uncle Mike Salavarria of Houston, numerous Loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by sister Angelina Alaniz; uncles, Fred Flores Jr. and Robert Flores; paternal grandfather David Alaniz.

He attended Howell Middle School where in enjoyed learning. He took 1 year of Theatre Arts because his desired was to become an actor. He loved collecting coins and spending time with his nephews, niece and close cousin, Melinda, playing video games and LEGOS. He had a big heart and loved helping others, giving came natural to him.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Kathleen Steiner and staff, Driscoll Children's Hospital and Texas Children's Hospital.

Pallbearers are Mike Salavarria, Aaron Johnson, Aerik Johnson, Emilio Flores, Rogelio Flores and Domanique Gutierrez.

Honorary Pallbearers are Miguel Flores, Izaiah Johnson and Don Stafford.

Visitation will be 5-7 Friday and prayer service will be at 7:00 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Raymond Caballero officiating.

Funeral service Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
