Esteban Perez Jr.

Esteban worked for Brannan Paving and was a dedicated hardworking man. He loved to be outdoors, especially fishing. He always tried to put others needs first especially for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Elizabeth Benavides Perez; sisters, Mary Jane Edison, Anita Munoz and Becky Longoria; brothers, Porfirio Perez and David Perez; children, Manuel Garcia, Steven Garcia, Joseph Perez, Christopher Perez and Priscilla Perez Trevino; stepchildren, Lisa Garza, Cristy Perez, Stacey Ortiz and Lupe Perez, Jr.; 26 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews all who loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lupe Perez, Sr.

The family would like to extend special thanks to M.D. Anderson doctors and nurses who cared for Esteban through all his procedures and a special thank you to Brannan Paving, Steve and Jane Scott for all their help to our family.

The family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial to follow at DeLaGarza Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Perez, Sr., Lupe Perez, Jr., Jeffery Perez, Roy Munoz, Casirio Munoz, Jr. and Anthony Munoz. Honorary pallbearers are Edwardo Garza and Sophia Ortiz.
