Francis H. Salazar, of Victoria passed away surrounded by her family on June 11, 2022 at the age of 72. Francis was born in Victoria on November 6,1949 to Simona Hernandez Salazar and the late Francisco Molina Salazar.
Francis is survived by her daughter Christina Salazar; son Joseph Salazar; Sisters Gloria Salazar (Ernest) of Snook, Tx, Linda Rodriguez (Juan) of Victoria, brothers; Rudy Salazar (Sylvia) of Houston, Jimmy Salazar (Yolanda) of Victoria, Pete Salazar (Mary) of Victoria, and her beloved granddaughter Alexis Salazar.
Francis is preceded in death by her father Francisco Salazar and her sisters Mary Rios and Diana Rojas.
Visitation will be Thursday June 16, 2022 at Rosewood Funeral Home. Family viewing will be 1pm-5pm, public viewing 5pm-7pm and services from 7pm-8pm.
Her Journey’s Just Begun
Don't think of her as gone away-
her journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets-
this earth is only one. . .
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched. . .
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and she was loved so much.
